This policy explains what information Hookset Fishing Co. (“Hookset”, “we”) collects through this website and when you book a trip, and how we use it.

Who we are

What we collect

• Trip requests. The booking form does not send data to our servers. It opens your own email app with your request filled in, and we receive only what you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number, trip, preferred date, number of anglers and notes.
• Calls and messages. If you call or email us, we keep your name, contact details and booking details.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Third-party services

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

• To answer your request and schedule, confirm and run your trip.
• To send deposit and payment links and trip reminders.
• To keep the records required for charter and tax purposes.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking emails and records for up to three years for accounting and tax purposes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner unless we must keep it by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing trips@example.com. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including New Jersey and California, may have additional rights, and we honor those requests.

Children

Kids are welcome on our trips, but this website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Parents or guardians make bookings for minors.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
